Job Summary

We are looking for a Consultant Burn Surgeon with Tier 1 qualifications and formal training in burn care. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a dedicated burn center and a strong commitment to advancing burn care practices.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide comprehensive care for patients with acute and reconstructive burn injuries.

· Perform specialised surgical procedures, including skin grafting, debridement, and scar revisions.

· Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage complex burn cases.

· Participate in burn prevention programs, research and clinical education.

· Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance burn care outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills

· Tier 1 qualification in with formal training in Burn Surgery.

· Minimum 6 years of experience in a burn center.

· Expertise in acute burn care, surgical reconstruction, and wound management.

· Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities.

Certification:

· UK/Ireland: CCT/CCST

· USA/Canada: ABMS/RCPSC

· Australia/New Zealand: Fellowship of the Royal Colleges

· Certificate of Specialisation from countries such as France, Belgium, Germany, Holland,

· Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, Denmark.
